Music Stores

The most cost-effective way to acquire an instrument is to purchase one outright from a reputable instrument dealer, and most dealers offer rental-purchase plans. Please DO NOT PURCHASE any instrument from another source before consulting with your teacher first. Poor quality instruments do exist and are the #1 reason students quit. (Beware of Internet, Craigslist, and Pawnshop “Deals!”) You want to invest in an instrument that will sound good and not be constantly in the repair shop because of inferior construction or condition. There are many options that students and parents need to know before picking out the best instrument for the individual student’s needs.
